Anyone else get this today (PC or 360), just had a good 2/3 hours on it on my pc. Only complaint so far....its bloody hard to kill anything on hardcore, damned mutants and bandits alike. Other than that I'm loving the Stalker-esque feel coming from the game, one of the best FPSs I have played so far this year - Although the post-Apocalyptic theme is my sort of thing, so that might have something to do with it!

The 8 hours slightly concern me now that I have played at least 3 hours of it! However I think the game can be replayed at least once due to the achievements...ie certain missions to get achievements you have to either sneak your way through or kill everything and everyone.
However expanding on that I believe it to have an appeal you don't find often in a game and I am bond to return to the cold damn metro stations of Moscow for another run later on down the track (most likely in the summer) as everything can be done differently, well it feels like it can anyway, and the different arrangements of weaponry have to be used - which in my opinion is unlikely to happen in one play through due to their in game cost.

It's a bit buggy, and not worth full retail price on the 360. I picked it up and have enjoyed the setting so far, but for post apocalyptic fun, stick with Fallout 3 or wait for New Vegas!

I do agree, Fallout is easily my favourite game series and when New Vegas is released I am going to lose a hell of a lot of my life to that game. Metro is definitely not worth the full price due to the lack of content but the overall game play on the pc really impressed me and kept me playing all the way through to see what happened. Although the lack of the ability to explore the stations (the towns in the game) got to me a bit as well as the whole lack of a coherent ending, which I guess is leaving it wide open for a second otherwise it doesn't make that much sense.
